Ayat for Tayammum An-Nisa 4:43
O you who believe! Approach not As-Salat (the prayer) when you are in a drunken state until you know (the meaning) of what you utter, nor when you are in state of Janaba (i.e. in a state of sexual impurity and have not yet taken a bath) except when traveling on the road (without enough water, or just passing through a mosque), till you wash your whole body. And if you are ill, or on a journey, or one of you comes after answering the call of nature, or you have been in contact with women (by sexual relations) and you find no water, perform Tayammum with clean earth and rub therewith your faces and hands (Tayammum). Truly, Allah is Ever Oft-Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving. (An-Nisa 4:43)
The Prophet saws boycotts the Mothers of the Believers.
By the ninth year after Hijrah, Al-Madinah, had become a flourishing city
The wives of the Prophet saws requested an increase in their allowances
This desire of his wives for worldly comforts disturbed the Prophet saws
He declared that for one month he would separate himself from his wives and went into seclusion in the little room above Aishah,s apartment.
After 29 days he came down to Aishah’s ra, apartment and gave her the option to leave after consulting her parents.
He then recited these verses from Surah…33:28-29
O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Say to your wives: If you desire the life of this world, and its glitter, Then come! I will make a provision for you and set you free in a handsome manner (divorce). (Al-Ahzab 33:28)
But if you desire Allah and His Messenger, and the home of the Hereafter, then verily, Allah has prepared for Al-Muhsinat (good-doers) amongst you an enormous reward. (Al-Ahzab 33:29)
Prophet (saw), smiles at Aishah’s reply.
A beautiful smile appeared on the Prophet’s (saw), face when Aishah answered, “Is there any need to consult my parents?” Indeed I desire Allah and His Messenger and the abode of the next world and that she would prefer life with him to this world and all it has”.
And her response was followed by all of his other wives.
The two occasions when Aishah (ra), was honored to see Jibril (as),
On one occasion,
Aishah (ra), saw the Prophet saws with his hands on the mane of a horse talking to a rider.
On asking who he was, the Prophet (saw), told her “It was Jibril (as), in a vision of a human and he requested that his greetings be conveyed to her.
She prayed that Allah swt should give a good reward to the honored guest and to his noble host. i.e. (Jibril (as), and Prophet( saw)) .
O you who believe! Anas (ra), narrates how once the Prophet (saw), was praying in Aishah’s (ra), apartment, when she saw a stranger standing outside the door
She informed him and he finished his prayers and stepped out
Who should he see but the Angel Jibril (as)
When he was invited by the Prophet saws the Angel replied that they did not enter places where there were dogs or pictures.
The Prophet (saw) looked around, saw a puppy in a corner and chased it out, then the Jibril (as), entered. Aishah (ra), was a witness to this blessed incident
Aishah’s ra, lofty status due to her knowledge.
Aishah ra, is from among the seven noble ones to whom thousands of Ahadith are attributed.
