Aishah-06/06

Aishah (ra), title of

“The Horizon of the Ladies of Islam”

Imam Thahabi wrote that;
Aishah (ra), was superior to all other women in her knowledge and wisdom
She was a theologian of the highest order, and she deserved to be, after all;
She was born and nurtured under the tutelage of a father like Abu Bakr Siddique ra,
Lived as wife of the Prophet saws from a very tender age
She imbibed divinely inspired knowledge and wisdom from the very fountainhead of Prophethood.

She (ra), was an eyewitness to the problems and questions that the divine revelations answered.
Her apartment was the center where Ayat were revealed by the divine Mercy of Allah swt.
Thus she was given the title of “The Horizon of the Ladies of Islam”

Aishah (ra), as a mufti under the four caliphs

During the caliphate of the Khulfa-u-Rashideen, her fatwa (judicial decree or verdict) was accepted. Masrooq swore, Aishah (ra), had mastery over the Shariah laws regarding inheritance. Urwah bin Zurair (ra), her beloved nephew, was an envy of the companions because he had free access to approach her at any time as a Mahram.
The Prophet (saw) loved her deeply and respected her because of her command over religious matters and other praiseworthy qualities

This is what Allah swt says about the ones who have knowledge Al-Imran:18

Allah bears witness that La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) and the Angels, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He is always) maintaining His creation in Justice. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (Aali Imran 3:18)

Aishah’s (ra), pride at the Prophet (saw) passing away in her lap.

Aishah (ra), narrated that she was proud that when it was her turn, in her apartment, in her lap, the Prophet (saw), passed away.

Her brother Abdur-rahman came during his (saw) last moments with a miswak in his hand, and Aishah understood the Prophet’s saws, desire for it.
She softened it with her saliva and teeth and offered it to him (saw)
He (saw), cleaned his teeth; and dipping his hand frequently into a bowl of water kept near him, he kept wiping his face again and again, repeating the words,

“There is none worthy of worship but Allah. Verily, death has pains.”
Then he pointed upward with his hand and said,
“Toward the best friend”.

Thus the soul soared up from the prison of the body.

Imam Thahbi’s quote

Imam Thahbi quoted a saying of the Prophet (saw),
The Prophet( saw) said;
“A Prophet’s soul leaves its body in the place that he likes the best”.
Thus it is proven he died in his favorite place, the apartment of Aishah bint Abu Bakr

The prophecy of Aishah’s (ra), dream was fulfilled

Previously Aishah (ra), had a dream that three moons descended into her apartment
When the Prophet saws, passed away he was buried in her apartment.
Then her father told her that part of her dream come true that day-the first moon radiated her apartment. Later, her father was buried next to the Prophet (saw)s and still later Umar Farooq (ra) Thus, the prophecy of her dream was fulfilled.

Aishah (ra), passes away

Aishah (ra), left this earthly existence for Paradise in the year 58 Hijrah on the 17th of Ramadhan at the age of 66,
“To Allah we belong and to Allah we return”

Aishah (ra), rests in “Jannatul Baqi”

Aishah (ra), was buried in the graveyard at Al-Madinah, Jannatul Baqi
Abu Hurairah (ra), led the funeral prayers
And Abdulla bin Muhammad bin Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr Siddique and
Abdullah bin Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr Siddique (ra,) placed her (ra), gently into her grave.

Aishah ra, was amongst those promised Paradise.
89:27-30….

(it will be said to the pious): “O (you) the one in (complete) rest and satisfaction! (Al-Fajr 89:27)

“Come back to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing unto Him! (Al-Fajr 89:28)
“Enter you, then, among My honoured slaves, (Al-Fajr 89:29)

“And enter you My Paradise!”
(Al-Fajr 89:30)
