Aishah (ra), and Hafsah (ra ), Plot against the Prophet (saw)!!!
Among the mothers of the Believers, Aishah, Hafsah, Umm Habibah and
Saudah (ra), belong to the tribe of Quraish
When the Prophet (saw), was delayed a little with Zainab (ra), because she offered him some honey, Aishah and Hafsah (ra), could not bear him coming late.
So both Aishah (ra), and Hafsah (ra ), decided with Saudah (ra), to criticize his breath breath of honey.
He (saw), then decided to give it up for good hence Allah (swt), rebuked him (saw), in Surah At-Tahreem 66:1
Surah At-Tahreem
“O Prophet! Why do you forbid that which Allah (swt ) has allowed to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah (swt) is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (66:1)
Hafsah (ra), confides in Aishah (ra), and Allah (swt), exposed her.
It was around the same time that the Prophet (saw), confided a secret matter to Hafsah (ra) and warned her not to speak to anyone about it
Hafsah (ra), told Aisha (ra), about it and Allah (swt), exposed her and revealed it in Surah At-Tahreem (66:3)
“And when the Prophet (saw) disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wife, then she told it. And Allah (swt) made it known to him; he informed part thereof and left a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, “Who told you this?” He said: “The All-Knower, The All Aware has told me” (66:3)
The Prophet (saw),boycotted his wives for 29 Days!!!
It was at this time, the Prophet (saw), boycotted his wives
By the 9th year after Hijra, most of the Peninsula was under Islamic rule
The granaries at Al Madina were full and all the riches were reaching the center from different regions .

Most of the Mothers of the believers had been brought up in the lap of luxury
When they saw this reign of prosperity, they too put forward demands for an increase in their household allowances.
When Umar Farooq (ra ), heard of this, he was very upset and told his daughter to ask him and not to make demands from the Prophet (saw).
He also advised the Mother of the Believers not to make demands
It was at this time that the Prophet (saw) boycotted his wives and went into seclusion and moved into an upper room adjacent to Aishah’s (ra), apartment.
Hafsah (ra), promised her father that she would never ask for a raise in her allowance and remained to her word to the end of her life.
Hafsah (ra), passed away in the state of Saum (fasting)
Hafsah (ra), died in the year 41th after Hijra at the age of 59.
The funeral prayer was led by the governor of Al-Madinah, Marwan bin Hakam
She was buried in Jannatul Baqi by her two brothers, Abdullah bin Umar and Asim bin Umar, (ra).
Allah (swt), gives them good news in Al-Fajr
“O the one in complete rest and satisfaction! Come back to your Lord-well pleased (yourself) and well-pleasing (unto Him)! Enter you them among my (honored) servants, and enter you My Paradise” (89:27-30)
